About Spalding

Spalding Catholic School is a Christ-centered educational community dedicated to the development of the whole child. We believe that parents are the primary educators of their children; it is their right and duty to educate them. Spalding Catholic aids parents with this responsibility by providing a faith atmosphere that is supportive of
the Christian family values.

Our vision of the graduate of Spalding Catholic School is one who is committed to Christian values, has a strong sense of self-esteem, and respects others.

Those who have chosen Spalding Catholic have helped us articulate who we are as the Spalding Catholic Family:

...We are Catholic. We offer weekly Mass, frequent Reconciliation services,
religion classes, daily prayer, Scripture study,
and service to those in need.

...We strive for academic excellence.  Teachers and staff who work closely with
your children, who care about about them, and who
challenge them to excel.

...We provide a secure environment. Your children feel safe in the halls, in
the classrooms, on the playground, or in any other
school area.

...We offer extracurricular. Students may compete in Geography bee, technology,
art show, sports (through Gehlen) or many other activities that help in
making a well-rounded education.

...We are family. We are more than an institution because we pray and
work together, to celebrate the love of Jesus Christ.

We invite you to be part of this family!

What others are saying about us:

"On behalf of my husband and I, I want to let you know how happy and pleased we are with everyone we have come in contact with from Spalding. Everyone has made us feel welcomed, and our son just seems to love it there." ~ Kindergarten parent

“I have taught at different schools, gone to different schools, and sent my kids to different schools.  Of all the schools, I feel Spalding exceeds them all!  Let me share one example with you that really stands out in my mind: A 5th grader went to a school where he was one out of 30 plus students.  He wasn't at the top academically, or at the very bottom, so he just slid through.  He switched halfway in 5th grade to a school with multiple grades in one room and he was 1 out of 5 kids in his 5th grade.  His grades went way up!  He is now in a big high school and unfortunately, he isn't noticed (again) and he is barely passing.” ~ Mrs. Carla Walhof, 5th & 6th grade teacher
